Proposition: In this lesson we will answer four questions concerning death: 1) What happens after death? 2) Should we desire death? 3) What about the living? and 4) How can we overcome death?

Objective: The learner should be able to answer each of the questions biblically, and demonstrate a knowledge of the scriptures which support the biblical answer.

Aim: The aim of this lesson is to answer questions concerning death thereby comforting the faithful Christian and warning the unfaithful and unbelieving of the judgment to come.

2. We also see times in our lives when we fail to exhibit patience.

2) Grew weary in well-doing, Gal. 6:9.

3) Some even fail to remain faithful, Heb. 6:11.

3. We know we don’t always have patience, so how do we develop it? How do we acquire patience?

PROPOSITION: In this lesson, we will look at things that define an honorable marriage. Marriage is honorable when 1) God says it is honorable. 2) It respects God’s pattern for marriage. 3) Its not being used to legitimize adultery.

OBJECTIVES: Each listener should know what God has defined as an honorable marriage.

PROPOSITION: In this lesson, we will look at the subject of Bible miracles looking at their definition, distribution, and domain.

4) 1:10 Assured again, we must deal with sin.

5) 2:1 John stresses where it is we must go if we are in sin.

6) 2:2 He is the hILASMOS, the propitiation for our sins.

PROPOSITION: In this lesson we will study Judges 17-19 and draw appropriate lessons.

Objectives: Each ought to be able to explain how a lack of respect for God’s authority leads to false religious practices.

A. The study of the Holy Spirit is a very fascinating, fundamental and foundational study for the child of God.

B. The study of the Holy Spirit is both challenging and consoling, both interesting and intriguing, and both controversial and complex.

C. Minds brilliant and minds not so brilliant have given serious thought to the glorious being of the Holy Spirit.

A. WHY STUDY THE HOLY SPIRIT?

A. Another way that many are trying to make changes in the Lord’s church is pertaining to its music

1. Instrumental music always seems to loom in the background

2. No doubt a survey of the younger generation among churches of Christ would reveal that they do not consider the instrument in church worship to be objectionable

3. Prominent voices among the change agents have certainly declared their conviction that instrumental music should not be treated as an issue of fellowship

AIM: To encourage the brethren through the study of grace.

A. The story is told of a bigoted Chinese man who had refused to hear a missionary preach. Finally, he surprised the missionary by telling him, ‘I have decided to hear the words of your religion — I want to hear about Jesus.’ When asked why the sudden change, the man said, ‘I have heard the laughter in your house, and in the houses of my countryman who have accepted what you preach and I want to hear it too.’

B. When people see the joy we possess as a Christian, they will want to know more about Christianity
