PROPOSITION: In this lesson we will look at two kinds of hearts, 1) The hard heart, and 2) The Soft heart.

OBJECTIVES: Each should understand the two hearts, their relationship to God and his word, and which kind everyone should desire to have.

AIM: To encourage everyone to have the kind of heart that God wants us to have.

The All in All King lives in 1) An Emptied Heart 2) A Renewed Heart, 3) A Transcended Heart. To learn that Christ is all in all and each of us needs Him. That Each Christian would empty, renew, and transcend their hearts for Christ!

God calls lawlessness and unrighteousness sin (1 John 3:4; 5:17). He doesn’t distinguish right from wrong and righteousness from sin arbitrarily. Because God sees and knows all, He sees how sin ruins and hurts us. He calls wickedness and lawlessness sin, because He loves us and doesn’t want sin to deceive, enslave, and cause us to die spiritually.

1. Read: John 5:1-17

The book of Hebrews tells of Christians who are slowing growing dull and falling away from the faith. Some were drifting (Hebrews 2:1-3), some were dull of hearing (5:11), and some had fallen away (6:4-6). They had fallen into the habit of forsaking the assembling. It was not that they missed an “assembly” or part of an assembly; they had abandoned meeting with the saints altogether! They quit going to worship and bible classes.

SUBJECT: Life of Christ

TITLE: Lessons from the Birth of Christ

PROPOSITION: In this lesson we will set forth three significant lessons from Matthew’s account of the birth of Christ, namely: 1) God keeps his promises, 2) Obedience leads to salvation, 3) Jesus is the Messiah.

OBJECTIVES: Each hearer should be able to state why these lessons are taught from the birth of Christ and give examples.

AIM: To show that God’s will cannot be thwarted as long as men are willing to do their part in the process of salvation.

TITLE: Principles for Resolving Church Conflicts

PROPOSITION: In this lesson we will look at six principles for resolving church conflicts as illustrated by a recent mission trip.

Objectives: That each member be informed regarding the mission trip and understand what was done to resolve conflicts and what lessons were learned.

Aim: To teach six fundamental principles for resolving church conflicts.
