Praying For The People Of Chile
Categories: Church of Christ Bulletin ArticlesFrom the AP writers in Talca, Chile (see map), comes the sad news of the devastation in Chile brought about by an earthquake of an 8.8 magnitude.
Quoting from the news article:
“One of the largest earthquakes ever recorded, tore apart houses, bridges and highways in central Chile on Saturday and sent a tsunami racing halfway around the world. Chileans near the epicenter were tossed about as if shaken by a giant, and authorities said at least 214 people were dead.“
Thanks to Internet technology, we can watch a live media stream from Chilean TV as well as CNN, as they cover the devastation.
Brethren and friends, let’s all be praying for the people of Chile who are undergoing great suffering as a result of this devastating earthquake.
Let’s also be praying for members of the Lord’s church in Chile.
