An Important Distinction
Categories: Church of Christ Bulletin Articles, uncategorizedToday’s Nudge from The Fellowship Room was, “What important distinction makes a difference to you?”
My answer:
An important distinction in my life has been the distinction between good and evil. Many people in our society are woefully ignorant of that distinction (Isaiah 5:20).
The distinction between good and evil can only come about by a daily and habitual study of God’s word (Acts 17:11; Hebrews 5:13-14; 2 Timothy 2:15), as well as an application of it (Psalm 119:33-34; cf. James 1:22-27).
Brethren, and friends, let us pass this all-important distinction between good and evil on to our children and grandchildren (Psalm 78:7-8), so they too can enjoy being spiritually blessed by the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:17-25).
