Adding Bookstore/Book Search Engine Links
Categories: Church of Christ Bulletin ArticlesDear Blog Readers:
In addition to recently adding a list of Christian bookstores to my Bible article blog (located on the right-hand side of my homepage under the heading, “Christian Bookstores” – scroll down page), I’ve also added a book search engine link called BookFinder.com, that searches over 150 million books for sale — new, used, rare, out-of-print, and textbooks.
For example, when I entered a rare set of commentaries by author E.M. Zerr into the Author block, I received this list.
By clicking on the first link of the list, the database gives you a list of booksellers selling this particular volume, at both new and used prices. By going to the “Total Price” column, and clicking on the price link, you will be provided with the listed bookstore for that particular book volume.
For your convenience, I’ve placed the BookFinder.com link under the heading, “Book Finder Search Engine,” located on the right-hand side of my homepage (scroll down page), just up from the “Christian Bookstores” heading.
Using this book search engine, the Bible student can quickly find book and book sets of such notable men of the Book as Foy E. Wallace, Guy N. Woods, David Lipscomb, N.B. Hardeman, Marshall Keeble, and Batsell Barrett Baxter.
One can also search and find various Bible commentaries, dictionaries, encyclopedias, concordances, lexicons, and many other Bible-related helps, plus all kinds of Bibles, i.e., interlinear, topical, parallel — the list is practically endless.
