Signed Their Name, But Forgot To Write The Note
Categories: Church of Christ Bulletin Articles, uncategorizedOver the years, I’ve learned not to write or say anything that I wouldn’t sign my name to. If we ever receive a negative, anonymous note, we need to just ignore it. If the person is not willing to sign their name, it’s not worth reading anyway, so we need not take heed of it.
For example, the story is told of the preacher who received an anonymous note with nothing but the word “FOOL” written on it.
The next morning, he stood up in the assembly and said, “I’ve received notes without signatures before, but this is the first time I’ve ever received one where someone forgot to write the note and just signed their name!”
Have a wonderful Wednesday! (Psalm 118:24).
