Natalie Wood, along with Elizabeth Taylor and Sophia Loren, was one of the most glamorous and beautiful actresses ever to grace Hollywood. She starred in films in the 1950’s and ’60’s such as “Rebel Without a Cause,” “West Side Story” and “Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice.”
Those of us that know anything about music have heard the phrase…….grace notes. I am a musician but have never thought of grace notes in my relationship to God. What are grace notes anyway? They are essentially a type of musical ornamentation. They are a special series of “extra” notes added by the composer or […]
There are many things in God’s creation that are so majestic, so marvelous, so fantastic to behold, that there is only one descriptive word of exclamation to describe them — “WOW” When the apostle Paul wrote about the work of God in saving both Jew and Gentile in the book of Romans, there were three […]
In our fast-paced society, we don’t like motorists who travel too slow on the freeway because of the fact that they tend to slow other motorists down. Young Elihu came to Job to humble him before God by pointing to the majesty of the creation (Job 36-37). His lesson was, if you cannot explain God in His works, which you can see, how can you explain God in the mystery of righteousness and His dealings with sinful man (Job 37:14-24).
As Vice President, George Bush represented the United States at the funeral of former Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev. Bush was deeply moved by a silent protest carried out by Brezhnev’s widow.
In the course of any immoral society, there comes a time when God will “give them up” to their depravity because of their unwillingness to repent (Romans 1:24,26,28 ESV). Such is the case in Genesis 6:5, where the text says:
From time to time, I receive some humorous emails from various individuals on my email list. The following are six humorous stories which demonstrate the innocence and straightforwardness of a little child (Matthew 18:1-3; Matthew 19:13-14):
Albert Einstein explored the belief that man could not understand the nature of God. In a 1930 interview, he stated: “We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does […]

In Paul’s letter to the brethren at Philippi, he expresses the importance of focusing on the right target in our Christian life, when he tells us, “I press toward the goal [mark – KJV] for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14).
Ken Davis, best-selling author, frequent radio and television guest, and one of the country’s most sought after inspirational and motivational speakers, has written an above titled article, which prompts us to ask the question, “Does social media replace friendships based on intimate face-to-face contact?“
From today’s Montana Street bulletin, comes the following article by brother Lewis G. Hale, preacher for the Southwest congregation in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, regarding “our heritage“:

From today’s Montana Street bulletin, comes the following article by brother Raymond Elliott, preacher for the Capitol Heights congregation in Montgomery, Alabama, about the goodness and the severity of God: One of the first truths that small children learn about God is that He is good. A prayer of thanksgiving offered by boys and girls […]
As I was taking my daily walk around a neighborhood elementary school this morning, I noticed on the sidewalk, a small round colorful object in front of me that was moving. Upon closer inspection, the moving object was a Fruit Loop being carried along by three ants. Not far behind, was another Fruit Loop being […]
