A querist asks, “Is there really a Holy Spirit?” Yes, the Holy Spirit is a person with the ability to do things only a person can do. According to the holy Scriptures:

1) The Holy Spirit teaches (John 14:26).

6) The Holy Spirit, as a person, appointed and directed God’s chosen men (Acts 13:2).
7) The Holy Spirit makes intercessions for the saints of God (Romans 8:26).
8) The Holy Spirit strengthens (Ephesians 3:16).
9) The Holy Spirit sanctifies (2 Thessalonians 2:13).
10) The Holy Spirit saves (Titus 3:5).
11) The Holy Spirit justifies (1 Timothy 3:16)
12) The Holy Spirit witnesses to us (Hebrews 10:15).
13) The Holy Spirit prompts us to love God (Romans 5:5).
