In God's Eyes
Categories: Church of Christ Bulletin Articles Tags: Bulletin Articles on GodIn the medical world, there seems to be great confusion in determining when a human being should be considered a human being. For example, “Is the so-called “blob” of tissue a viable human being while in the womb of the mother?”
On Facebook, Brother Richard Stephens III, preacher for the Hawn Freeway congregation in Dallas, Texas, notes that the Greek word for “babe” (brephos) leaping in the womb (“unborn”; Luke 1:41,44), is the same Greek word for “babe” lying in a manger (“newborn”; Luke 2:12,16).
As Brother Stephens points out: In God eyes there is “no difference” between a child “in” or “out” of the womb! (see video).
He adds, “Abortion is horribly wrong!! May expectant mothers of unwanted pregnancies find another way, i.e., give your “babe” to a Christian family.”
We need only to add our hearty “Amen” to the above noted observation of Brother Stephens from God’s word.
