Does Absence Make The Heart Grow Fonder?

If absence makes the heart grow fonder, does this mean that the absentee Christian from the assembly must really love the Lord? We think not. Rather, it is more like “out of sight, out of mind.”
And if we don’t love the Lord enough to attend the assembly of the saints, do we really think that we love the Lord enough to be allowed into heaven’s portals and even enjoy being there? (Matthew 12:30).
Let’s think about it and then make any necessary adjustments in our attitude.
