Angels
Categories: Church of Christ Bulletin ArticlesAngels are heavenly beings created by God (Colossians 1:16). They are immortal (Luke 20:36), they worship God (Psalm 148:1-2), and they are subject unto Christ (1 Peter 3:22).
- Colossians 1:16: “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.”
- Luke 20:36: “Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”
- Psalm 148:1-2: “Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.”
- 1 Peter 3:22: “Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.”
