“A Horse Can't Pull While Kicking”

The following above titled poem by an unknown author, well illustrates the fact that we can’t accomplish much if we continually gripe or complain about life’s circumstances. Rather, we need to follow the inspired instructions found in 1 Corinthians 15:58, knowing that our time here on earth is short (John 9:4; cf. James 4:13-14). We “must” be about our Father’s business (Luke 2:49).
“A horse can’t pull while kicking.
This fact we merely mention.
And he can’t kick while pulling,
Which is our chief contention.
Let’s imitate the good old horse
And lead a life that’s fitting;
Just pull an honest load, and then
There’ll be no time for kicking.”
Brethren, let’s seriously think about it!
