To Live Without Faith In Jesus
Categories: Church of Christ Bulletin Articles Tags: Bible Lessons on Faith, Bulletin Articles on FaithSomeone has said that to live without faith in Jesus, would be like climbing a ladder without hands. Without faith in the Lord and in His direction, we would be no better off than bodies in a cemetery.
When it comes to living acceptable and pleasing lives before the Lord, we must have an active and obedient faith — it is not an option (Hebrews 11:6 -NKJV; cf. Romans 10:17-NKJV; James 2:14-24-NKJV; 1 Peter 1:22-NKJV).
God provides us the power and strength to fulfill the goals and responsibilities He has assigned to each one of us (Philippians 4:13-NKJV; Colossians 1:7-12-NKJV; Matthew 28:19-20-NKJV; Mark 16:15-16-NKJV).
As followers of Christ, are we willing to deny ourselves (Matthew 16:24-NKJV), allowing God to use us and the talents He has graciously provided us for His glory? (Matthew 25:14-23-NKJV; Isaiah 43:7-NKJV; Matthew 5:13-16-NKJV).
Brethren, remember that a faithful and diligent worker for the Lord is never miserable or bored (1 Corinthians 15:58-NKJV).
Let’s think about it!
