Taking Too Many Pills? Just Take One — The “Gos-pill”

Every time we turn on the television, we are bombarded by all kinds of advertisements promoting different kinds of pills. There are allergy pills; headache pills, sleeping pills, energy pills, weight loss pills, etc. Wouldn’t it be great if someone could just develop one pill that would cure everything? Just think, no matter what was wrong with us, one pill would cure it all.
Looking at the almost seven billion people on our planet, we see that they all have a lot of different problems in their lives. Some may be hurting because a loved one has died. Others may be hurting because their family has been broken apart because of divorce. Still someone else may be at a loss because they’ve lost their job, not knowing how they are going to pay their bills and provide for the needs of their family. Some may be hurting because they, or someone they love, are seriously ill.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was just one pill that would cure all of these different hurts and problems?
Well, thanks to God, there is such a pill! It’s called the “Gos-pill.” The word gospel means “good news” (Acts 13:32 NIV), and the good news is that Jesus loves us and cares for us — so much so, that He died for us — thus being able to take away the terrible guilt in our life caused by sin (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:6-21; Romans 11:25-27; Hebrews 8:10-12).
If we haven’t already, let us please consider taking God’s “Gos-pill” plan of salvation.
Taking this one pill, will cure all of our spiritual ills.
