Bible Challenges

- That it be proclaimed (2 Timothy 4:2).
- That it be heard (John 5:25; John 6:45).
- That it be understood (Ephesians 3:3-4; Ephesians 5:17.
- That it be believed (Romans 10:9-10.
- That it be received with a view toward obedience (Acts 2:41; Hebrews 5:9; 1 Peter 1:22).
- That it be lived – Philippians 2:12.
- That it be defended (Philippians 1:17; 1 Timothy 6:12).
- That it be read reverently as God’s word (Hebrews 4:12).
- That it be read slowly to savor the richness of its message (Psalms 19:9-10).
- That it be read impartially for God is no respecter of persons (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 10:34-35).
- That it be read inquiringly because it produces saving faith (Romans 10:17; Acts 17:11).
- That it be read and obeyed promptly because it demands complete submission – 2 Corinthians 6:2; Acts 18:8; Romans 1:5).
- That it be read to be followed faithfully in order to receive its glorious rewards (1 Timothy 4:11-16; Revelation 22:14).
- To behold the revealed Son of God (Acts 17:3).
- To ponder the power it contains (Romans 1:16).
- To meet the conditions of pardon it specifies (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:36-38).
- To weigh the soul it evaluates (Matthew 16:26).
- To shun the sin it exposes (John 15:22; James 1:15).
- To resist the devil it has unmasked (James 4:7).
- To cherish the pardon it assures (Hebrews 10:22).
- To make the sacrifice it enjoins (Romans 12:1-2).
- To complete the pilgrimage it has enjoined (2 Timothy 4:5-8; Hebrews 12:1-4).
